Not since stephen king ... - Signs Reviews

... has someone come along with the true, natural, undeniable storytelling abilities as of M. Night Shyamalan. His approach is a kind of subtle that ultimately turns around and slaps you in the face, leaving you with a dopey, startled grin. He doesn't need an overly extravagant setting. The actors are never overdramatic or unbelieveable. "The Sixth Sense" was a sure sign that this was a guy with staying power. Not only can he creep you out, he can make you think. A viewer gets so involved with the characters and the story that they miss all the hidden details of the surprise ending to come -- which always in retrospect seem so obvious a blind man could pick them out. And "Signs" is just another of many triumphs yet to come for this talented writer and director. I can hardly wait to see what he serves up next. Bravo!
